FAQ'S
Q: How much does each session cost?

A: The cost for individual counseling is $180 for 55 minutes. Each couples therapy session is $250 for 60 minutes and $330 for 90 minutes.

Q: Who will benefit from therapy?

A: Attending therapy can have many benefits including improved self-esteem and gaining communication skills. I find those who benefit most from therapy, are individuals who are open and honest about their presenting concerns and willing to partake in a journey of self-reflection and accountability.

Q: How much will my insurance cover for sessions?

A: Coverage of services will vary from company to company. Most insurance companies cover mental health counseling services with a co-pay or co-insurance paid by the customer. Some insurance plans require a deductible to be met and paid before coverage begins. Contact your insurance company for coverage details.

Q: Do you accept my insurance?

A: To see a list of insurance companies I will bill on your behalf, please see the insurance billing page. If I am not an in-network provider with your insurance company, you will need to pay the full rate. A superbill can be generated for you to submit for possible out of network reimbursement. Check your plan for details.

Q: How many sessions do I need?
A: It is difficult to pre-determine the amount of sessions needed. It is common for people who have had 12 or more sessions to report an improvement in their life. Therapy is a service provided at will to you, at any time you wish to discontinue, it is your right to do so. Be prepared to come for at least 12-20 sessions.

Q: Can you bill my insurance for couples therapy?

A: No, couples sessions are private pay including any individual sessions I have with you.
Q: My partner isn't sure they want couples therapy, can I just meet with you first?

A: I encourage couples counseling and will not work with just one individual regarding relationship concerns.
