Trust. Comfort. Validation. Collaboration.

Hello and welcome to my practice! I hold an MA degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Pacific Lutheran University.  I have been practicing for over 10 years and have additional training in trauma, Emotionally Focused Therapy, and Perinatal Mental Health.

My career has consisted of providing therapy in community mental health and private practice settings in King and Pierce county.  My clinical experience includes counseling children, teens, couples, adults of all ages, and families with a wide range of concerns.  In 2016, I opened this practice so that I could continue to build upon my work with couples.  To stay up to date with cutting edge research and to ensure that you receive quality care, I frequently attend trainings and hold professional memberships with AAMFT and ICEEFT.  Since 2020, I have invested over 225 hours of my time taking trainings to continue to build my knowledge base and skill set.  100 of those training hours have been dedicated specifically to the EFT model and couples work.

I am fascinated by human interactions and the power of relationships.  My clinical interests are relationship issues, trauma, and attachment.  My main approach is Emotionally Focused therapy however I draw knowledge from many clinical approaches and schools of thought.  I'm here to walk alongside you and help you feel a sense of agency to live a meaningful and fulfilling life.

On a personal level, I have two children and two dogs so I understand the joys and challenges of managing a career and navigating parenthood.  I have been with my husband for 14 plus years and understand that relationships require intention and investment.  I am the daughter of Lao refugees and was born and raised in south Seattle.
